Mitchell & Ness

In 1904, former tennis and wrestling champ, Frank Mitchell partnered with Scottish golfer Charles Ness to form a sports store. Mitchell & Ness Sporting Goods specialized in handcrafted tennis racquets, golf clubs, and other equipment until the NBA, NFL, and NHL granted Mitchell & Ness licenses to produce jerseys and caps for their teams. While trends come and go, Mitchell & Ness jerseys and snapback caps remain popular among sports’ greatest enthusiasts.
