Since we first opened in 1998, Chimp has grown from a small boutique into an award winning independent store and is now looking to become globally recognised online. Due to our growth Chimp is now expanding, both in-store and especially online. Chimp is owned and run by two young entrepreneurial directors who are constantly looking to expand the business and for this we need ambitious people who can and want to grow with us.

Social Media Manager
We are looking for a Social Media and Marketing Manager to join our team at The Chimp Store. Social Media is rapidly becoming the heart of everything we do here at Chimp so we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and passionate. The applicant must also be someone who is creative, innovative and full of ideas as they will be working directly with our creative team.
The position is offered part time which will be up to 24 hours per week. The successful applicant must be available to work in the city centre of Leeds and be both PC and Mac literate.
Responsibilities Include
*Manage presence on social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, and other similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs, and seeding content into social applications as needed.
*Ensure social media tools are kept up to date
*Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities. Duties include online advocacy, writing editorial, community-outreach efforts, promotions, etc.
*Develop our SEO strategy
*Managing Blog, writing and editing content.
*Creating video content for website and social channels.
*Become an advocate of the Company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
*Internal Education within the company on best social media practices
*Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyse, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximise results
*Regularly feed back insights gained from social media monitoring to help evolve their strategies in a timely fashion
*Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications
*Manage and send our weekly newsletters
Requirements
- Proven Experience in Social Media
- Strong Copywriting Skills
- Strong Digital Footprint
- Knowledge of the fashion industry and the brands we work with
- Experience of CMS
- Knowledge of SEO preferred
