Garth Mariano and Matt Evans, the duo behind Butter Goods, have steadily produced some of the cleanest pieces available since the brands inception in 2008. Twelve years on, the duo can now lay claim to not only a burgeoning skate brand, but also the doors to their own store. In 2014 Mariano and Evans opened the first Lo-Fi store, home to it's eponymous label, as well as some of the best streetwear/skate brands on the market - Butter Goods included. Lo-Fi now boasts two physical locations in Perth Australia.
Continuing to push things forward, the Butter Goods brand shows no signs of slowing down. Constantly introducing us to new styles and refreshing takes on familiar silhouettes each season, we take an in-depth look at the Spring 20 drop.
First up, the humble stripey t shirt. True to form, Butter Goods have opted for their own cut and sew version of this wardrobe staple. In soft 100% cotton, with a tri-colour hooped design, their relaxed fit Pine Stripe T Shirt comes in two colourways and is neatly finished with branded script embroidery.
Moving swiftly on, graphics play a big part in this collection, as they always have done for the brand. From nastalgic, trippy graphic exploration, to vintage cartoon styles, these wearable works of art are brought to life across t shirts and heavyweight hoodies, ideal for Spring. Must see items are the Beautiful Music Hoody and Seventh Galaxy T Shirt.
