Ticking all the right boxes for this criteria is the Carhartt WIP x Relevant Parties collaboration, arriving as part of their Fall capsule.
Branding the exercise as a Capsule Compilation, Vol.1 see's the Detroit workwear turned streetwear staple link up with a slew of iconic record labels to inform graphics across a collection spanning t shirts, long sleeves, hoodies and sweatshirts.
Included in the drop are the likes of UK independent label pioneers, Ninja Tune, NYC's Ghostly International and the legendary LA label Stones Throw.

Jazzy Sport, Tokyo
When it comes to record stores, Tokyo's Jazzy Sport stands out as a pioneer in its field. With two locations, Jazzy Sport offers a fine selection of everything from no-wave to hip-hop and all sorts fo rarities in between.
Alongside the store is their namesake record label and collective of producers and DJ's who help to push their sound out beyond their native Tokyo.
Working alongside Carhartt WIP and their Relevant Records initiative, Jazzy Sport stay true to their Tokyo roots and bring us nostalgic sportswear staples, reworked against premium Carhartt WIP fabrics and silhouettes.

Stones Throw, Los Angeles
Stones Throw are legends in the game. Founded by Christopher Manak, AKA Peanut Butter Wolf in 1996, the label grew out of Chris's vision of starting and running his own label after having worked for various others after leaving University.
With a heavy hip hop tinge, Stones Throw can lay claim to working with a number of legendary artists and producers, most notable James Yancey, AKA none other than J Dilla. Other notable label mates include Madvillain and Quasimoto amongst countless others. Their influence and reach remains global, with their label logo being instantly recognisable.
Opting to take a different approach, Carhartt WIP and Stones Throw bring us a playful graphic that carefully works the Carhartt Big C logo together with Stones Throw lettering.

Public Possession, Munich
Founded in 2012 by Valentino Betz and Marvin Schuhmann, Public Possession began as an outlet to channel the pairs creative vision. Taking music, design and typography the idea evolved into a record label and physical record store in 2013. With a steady growing roster of artists and DJs, Public Possession have always maintained a range of apparel alongside their musical offerings.
Working with Carhartt WIP the label bring us a T Shirt option in two colourways. With a chest and back graphic, it plays on the labels creative jaunt with collaborative Carhartt WIP graphics added to good effect.

Ninja Tune, London
Founded in 1990 by a duo known as Coldcut, Ninja Tune sought from the outset to give a platform to music of a more underground and emerging nature. Early label signees include Mr Scruff and DJ Food, both of which have gone on to carve out their own niche in the world of electronic music. Secondly to Ninja Tune, their splinter label Big Dada has played host to legendary UK artists such as Wiley, Diplo and Roots Manuva.
This UK legacy label teamed up with Carhartt WIP to create a range of long sleeve tees, bearing their founding year alongside playful, retro graphics across the body, sleeves and back.

Ghostly International, New York
Hailing themselves as a 'genre-less' label, NYC's Ghostly International are a music and art label, pushing individuality and integrity in all that they do. Their roster is cimprised of some of the world's best visual artists, producers, musicians and designers, all under one roof.
Channeling this energy into their work with Carhartt WIP, Ghostly International place their well considered logo at the chest of an organic cotton t shirt, with placeholder style graphics on the back cementing the partnership.

DFA Records, New York
Fellow New Yorker's, DFA Records, were founded in 2001 by Mo' Wax co-founder Tim Goldsworthy, musician James Murphy, and manager Jonathan Galkin. This trio of expertise have gone on to release records from notable acts including Hot Chip, LCD Soundsystem, The Rapture and many more.
In line with Carhartt WIP this season, DFA plaster their lightning bolt style lgoo on the chest of a premium cotton tee, with a detailed neck print on the back.
