Many Nike designs from Tinker Hatfield have successfully lasted against the challenge of time and the Air Max 1 silhouette is one major testament to that. But with age comes technological advancement and the famed Air Max 1 made its welcome return with an upgraded upper utilising new materials and technologies, earlier this year. Its original inspiration designed way back in 1987 featured a visible Air Unit which changed the nature of show manufacturing and brought new levels on comfort to the wearer. Throughout the years the Nike Air Max 1 silhouette has seen a countless amount of changes from colours to materials used and team Swoosh will be adding Flyknit to the ever growing list. The upcoming new colour options of the Air Max 1 will see Flyknit construction from the toe to the heel as open areas will serve for ventilation while closed areas will offer even more support. With the added bonus of 3M swoosh technology to winterise this now popular option. These new colour options seen here will be available from 08:00 GMT+1 on Monday 17th October 2016.
