Novesta was born in the 1930 when a famous shoemaker by the name Jan Antonin Bata opened a brand new factory in a small town in Slovakia. Novesta take an approach to shoe design that starts with materials and gives their product an authentic feel. All Novesta trainers are still made in Slovakia using the same machines and processes as those used in the beginning.
