Chimp, Established in 1998, took inspiration from a fascination with the Planet of the Apes. Originally located in the Victorian built Thorntons Arcade, Chimp has risen from a small independent boutique to a nationally recognised and award winning independent and has been a leader in its field ever since.

The Chimp Store stocks some of the most respected global brands on the planet in order to bring you the very best staples of lifestyle product available anywhere. At The Chimp Store we stock brands we grew up admiring, brands with a key cultural history and new brands with exciting new product developments. All with the key goal of our product being wearable and accessible to everyone.

During the Winter of 2016 we said goodbye to our physical store and moved to our new home, online. We endeavour to uphold and elevate our original vision and focus on our customer service values and store ethos through our online outpost. This new foundation allows us to stock more brands, offer more content and spread the Chimp message to even more people.
