Back in the 80s, the PUMA Suede became the 'it' shoe on the streets of New York city amongst the thriving hip-hop scene. A timeless classic and an integral part of of sneaker history, the style was embraced by many sub-cultures and referred to as the 'Suede', the 'Clyde' and PUMA 'Joints' to name but a few. However, it was the UK scene that adopted this style and made it their own, aptly re-naming them PUMA 'States' after their birthplace.
Following the initial SS'14 PUMA States re-issue earlier this year, this summer pack pays careful attention to detail, mixing the classic States make-up with subtle, modernised differences. Soft, rich, tonal suede uppers and stylish gold foil branding offer a more premium execution to the shoe whilst maintaining nostalgia and sneaker heritage with off-white sole unit and comforting foam backed tongue. Balmy colour ways have blasted the iconic silhouette with 'Atlantis Green' and 'Prism Violet' tonal shades joining the Summer collection together with striking simplicity.
The PUMA States ‘Summer Cooler’ Pack will be available in-store and online from 30th August priced at £65.
