As time went on, Goldwin became enamoured with European style, more specifically the ski wear of the mid-1960's, with its functionality and unique design hallmarks. Taking this influence, Goldwin went on to produce skiwear throughout the 1970s and 80s, pioneering knitwear styles that became a mainstay in ski resorts across Japan.
When the skiwear boom of the 1980s hit, Goldwin were already well positioned to capitalise on the emergence of slope-fashion. Bright colours, erratic patterns and sheer flamboyance defined ski style, with Goldwin leading the way. Fast forward to 2018, where Goldwin underwent a rebrand, refining their look, style and collections to suit a more lifestyle lead market.
