The Nike Air Max 90 started 2015 with a bang celebrating its 25th anniversary, with a number of special edition releases, but none would be more fitting than a Nike Air Max 90 “Infrared” retro. We’re finally getting another chance to get hold of this iconic release again on May 16th, 2015. This rendition features everything that made the retro runner so head-turning in the first place – from the OG white mesh to the stark contrast of the black leather side panels and the supple grey suede. The material selections all serve to make the Infrared accents pop throughout on the midsole, heel, and tongue branding. Air Max enthusiasts will note this as one of the most important releases of Nike’s early 90s catalog, and it’s hard to believe that the shoe has been around for 25 years already. For all of the advancements since, the Nike Infrared Air Max 90 still looks as bold and outstanding as ever. Also available is the Black/Neutral Grey colour option photographed above.
